Sigma Kappa provides valuable leadership development opportunities to its members. As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity during their collegiate experience. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them.
Every semester, our Sigma Kappa sisters are given many opportunities to strengthen our relationship with the chapter and each other. Date Party is a theme night where all of our sisters dress up and enjoy a great night together. Semi-Formal is a chance for all of us to put a cute dress on, grab a pair of heels, do our hair and makeup for a night of dinner and dancing! Apple Holler is a sisterhood event held every fall. We pack up cars of girls, drive to the well known Apple Holler, and enjoy a night of s'mores, cider, pictures, donuts and sisterhood bonding by the campfire. Dads and Doves and Sweet Lady Tea are events we hold every year that are near and dear to our hearts as we get to bring our parents and cross our families with our sisterhood. More of our favorite sisterhood events include work out classes together all over Milwaukee and ice cream parties at the house before midterms.
All of these events show us just how much Sigma Kappa means to us. This chapter has given us memories that will last a lifetime!
Apple Holler is one of our favorite events all year! Warm apple cider, s'mores and sisters? What could be better?!
When someone asks how much we love Apple Holler
